Porsche's M637 Club Sport 924's were developed to compete in sanctioned show room stock racing series. Based on the factory built 924 Carrera GT and GTS homologation street cars that were never imported to the US these cars featured wide body fenders and huge horsepower gains over mass market 924s. This car began as a barn find 1982 Porsche 924 and received the Al Holbert Wide Body kit and a host of high performance upgrades as highlighted below to build a street legal Club Sport track car. The engine runs but needs additional work and tuning to make it street or track ready. The builder estimated that this engine, with water to air intercooler was capable of 300+ horsepower. Unfortunately we do not have documentation to support that claim. The transaxle, brakes and suspension are all more than capable for handling maximum horsepower. Solid rust free body, mounts and floor. Glass, including on rear hatch in great shape. A set of front seats are included for those wishing to build a street car. No roll cage has yet been fitted.
